Tickhill Velo is a cycling club on the outskirts of Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Our mission is to create a social cycling club, catering for all abilities, to pass on knowledge and to simply enjoy riding bikes with like minded people. Please browse the site for more information about our club or connect with us on Facebook to ask any questions you may have.
Along with our branding the Tickhill Velo kit was designed by critically acclaimed artist and keen cyclist Alan Heighton. It is very visible out on the road, and the Bioracer quality is good. See Club Kit for more details.
We welcome riders of all abilities and exist to help people get over that initial fear of riding with a group. No one will get left behind! With a modern approach and the emphasis on fun we hope to add to the vibrant village life here in Tickhill. We typically have 3 club rides per week:

This year we have ambition to grow the membership and get more people riding. We want to do 2 or 3 challenge rides, maybe some family rides in Clumber Park. Our Facebook group has grown to become our main channel of communication. This is a closed group so you have to request permission to join. We welcome nice people to pass on tips, share photos, share videos and organise rides, etc. We are also active on Twitter and periodically we send out email newsletters to our members. So we are a new club with ambition, we want to promote grass roots cycling and get people out on their bikes.
